Last weekend was the second edition of the WordCamp Zaragoza. In this edition I participated as Speaker, like I did in the 2018 edition. A WordCamp is a conference that focuses on everything about WordPress.
The talk:
This year (2019) I talked about how to identify if you have a good website, or you have been cheated. The purpose of this talk is to show that every web platform could be good or bad depending of your requirements and objectives.
Therefore, presentation it is divided in three parts: ‘objectives’, ‘elements of the every website’, and ‘tools’. So you can identify whether the elements cover the objective.
In the first section, “Te Objective”, reviews the 3 main objectives that everyone has when decide to be online. And also, the importance and problems of being online. Secondly, in the elements section, it explains the elements that every web platform contains. And most importantly, the options that Internet gives us, in terms of Hardware, Software, Content & SEO, and UX & Design. And finally, in the last section, the tools, it shows different tools to identify the problems that your website could have, emphasizing in Chrome Dev Tools.
In conclusion, at the end of the presentation you should identify with tools without being technical, if your website meets your needs.
